I am really enjoying "gadgeting" my igoogle page. I've added and subtracted many items over the course of the last couple of weeks - the pictures of the day, facts of the day, optical illusions, etc... Most of them got deleted after a day - they took up too much space and TIME! But there have been a couple of goodies. My favorite has been the bookmark gadget, but after adding 4 "home page" bookmarks, all the others I add are not showing on the main page and have to be accessed by clicking on the gadget. Kind of annoying, but it's still nice - I have a few great bookmarks on all the computers I use.
My second favorite is the calendar. It took a really long time for me to figure out how to easily add things, but after accidentally clicking on the title a whole new world opened up. I now have my life color coded - each kid's hockey practice and game schedule goes in; my MILI obligations are "monthly", and so on. My husband has no excuse for not knowing where I am or who's driving who where. Thrilling, considering the amount of running we (I) do. I'd like to figure out how to run the RSS or iCal feed right to it - I know it's possible but I can only fiddle so much!

Any Advice?
I'm coming up to my first research project of the school year. It's a Disease project, and the students have to find out a lot of different facts about a particular disease of their choosing. I'm trying to come up with plagiarism-proof project ideas. So far, the only idea I have is to have them make Public Service Announcements about the disease (like you see on TV -"the more you know" - etc). Our new laptops have the video feature in PhotoBooth (although when I use it too much it closes unexpectedly). Anybody else have any ideas?
